Incorporated on March 14, 1850, Clinton has seen constant growth and improvement after several industrial innovations that helped put the small town on the map. With the help of the Bigelow brothers, Erastus and Horatio, Clinton’s growth was woven on the carpet loom—the carpets made in Clinton were used on the SS Titanic!

Nowadays, Clinton remains a city dedicated to constant improvement and entrepreneurism, and features landmarks like the Museum of Russian Icons and the Clinton Historical Society.
