With over 300 years of growth and evolution behind it, Framingham started out in the mid-1600s as a humble town of 76 families. An industry center and health study site, Framingham’s history is as vast as its incredible milestones, such as establishing the first public school in America in 1853 and being the site of “The Tuberculosis Demonstration” in 1917.
